John qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1968 with Harmood Banner in Birmingham; moving into industry he became involved with several manufacturers dealing in motor components and project engineering in the U.K. and overseas acting at head office and operating at company level. John returned to the profession via a period of consultancy installing computer systems in 1980. He not only appreciates the day to day demands of owner controlled businesses, but also the management of changes in order to compete in the business world of tomorrow.
